California The fee for the Bar Exam Application is $878 for general applicants and $1,650 for attorney applicants, plus an additional $153 laptop fee. A $50 late fee applies for Bar Exam Applications submitted between the first and last business days of November for the February exam, and the first and last business days of April for the July exam. A $250 late fee applies for Bar Exam Applications submitted between the last business day of November and the final filling deadline for the February exam, and the last business day of April and the final filling deadline for the July exam. There is a separate fee for the moral character application.
Florida Bar exam fee for attorneys is $1,600 for those admitted more than 1 year but less than 5 years; $2,000 for those admitted 5 or more years but less than 10 years; $2,400 for those admitted 10 or more years but less than 15 years; $3,000 for those admitted 15 or more years.
Georgia There is a separate fee for the Application for Certification of Fitness. That fee ranges from $450 (for law students) to $1,200 (for attorneys). Applicants must apply for and receive certification of fitness prior to submitting an application to sit for the bar exam. The fee for the Bar Exam Application is $400 for law students and $550 for law school graduates, plus an additional pass-along NCBE fee of $96 for applicants taking both the MPT and MBE and $30 for attorney applicants taking only the MPT.
